An evaluation should be first done to rule out causes like endometriosis etc.. that might cause painful periods. Then different options are available, one option is to start certain pain relievers the day before your expected period, another option is using oral contraceptive pills.

You have to do a pelvic echo if it is normal. Try contraceptive pills or anti-inflammatory pills.
