I went to the dr to treat my flu, he said u have sinusit. Gave me physiomer+nasonex. Now I'm good, but shall I take medicine always for sinusit?

- No, sinusitis can be viral bacterial , it can be induced by allergy , irritation ,environmental and other factors. treatment is not only guided by symptoms but also by the causative etiology

Fever of 39.5 fr 3 days and have a sore throat. the doctor made a test and the result come negative,it's viral no need for antibiotics is it true?

- If the symptoms become worse after 3 days or continue beyond 10 days you need to take AB

- Changing in voice quality is commonly due to voice abuse, teaching , lecturing, singing and other professional jobs commonly have this compliant.

I recently did a sinus scan and it was clear. Also at the same time, I have neck pain and permanent slight nausea. Is this nausea the result of both sinus and neck pain?

- Unlikely, since your sinus scan is clear. This rules out chronic and acute sinusitis.

Is there any medicines for the seasonal allergic rhinitis? I have been suffering from it for years and nothing I have ever taken or done so far has ever worked. please advise.

- We advise patients to test wht they are allergic to and try to avoid, If this is impossible nasal irrigation and antihistamine with or without nasal spray are highy effecient

Does smoking affect sinus problems?

- Yes it does, Smoking disturbs cilia and micovilli functions, however smoking patients after sinus surgery have the same improvement as nonsmoker.
