My left ear if blocked, it hurts a little but not too much. My doctor told me a week ago I had Otite, he gave me some meds but still no progress.

It is common to continue having fluid in the middle ear after otitis media , however if this persists more than 2 weeks you should return to your doctor to examine again particularly to have a look in your postnasal space.

He will prescribe you another course of AB, nasal spray and decongestant

In case this persists you might need a grommet insertion in your ears
