What is the best drug for anxiety? I have urticaria as a result of my anxiety. I have social anxiety from shyness etc.

The best drug for anxiety and social phobia hasn't been existed yet. There are a lot of drug groups and combinations of drugs that can reduce anxiety to a significant level or even abolish it. So, I advise you to consult your psychiatrist whom, I am sure, will help you very much in this respect. You have to know that in mental problems there are a lot of factors related to patient's personality, social environment, life events, career, marital discord, poverty and unemployment which would precipitate or maintain the anxiety, and these factors should be addressed in therapy with giving the medications
