It is always important to consider when in the pregnancy you are when the pills where taken and the type of pills.
There were some concerns in the past about the risks of abnormal genital development in the fetus, preterm delivery or low birth weight.
These risks have not been proven and if a women used birth control pills before knowing she was pregnant their is very little risks, but it is always important to inform your doctor so that the appropriate follow up is done
