I have swelling and pain in my ankle. Any advices?

First if the swelling is from trauma, you should go to a hospital for possible X-ray. If it is not trauma, it could be from several causes. It depends on your age and if you have any other medical problems or you are taking any chronic medicines. You can elevate for 2 days and if it does not improve, better see your doctor to make appropriate diagnosis.
