- yes,anxiety can cause heart burn because it stimulates both the sympathetic as well as the parasympathetic systems .

- aside of nexium which must be taken for at less 6 months take also an acid free diet elevate the head of bed also look for a germ helico bacter pylori

I have a discomfort feeling in the upper left chest with a heavy stomach feeling although I didn't eat much. I can't sleep, when I try to, something like strong heart beat wake me up. I'm in Africa.

Short breath/ inability to breathe. Been hospitalized, all tests were fine. I was diagnosed with stress, and was prescribed stress pills. Didn't work, still have short breath especially after eating.
