I have a discomfort feeling in the upper left chest with a heavy stomach feeling although I didn't eat much. I can't sleep, when I try to, something like strong heart beat wake me up. I'm in Africa.

It is most probably a gastro-esophageal reflux. You can start acid-lowering pills and prokinetics. The cardiac origin of your symptoms has to be considered if you are a smoker or if you have other cardiovascular risk factors.
