While i was doing a chest X-ray, i discovered a rib fracture with a hemothorax. Is it self limited or does it need any treatment?

It is better to check your doctor since you are bleeding from your lungs and the fracture is impinging on your lungs and causing the bleeding so i advise you to check your doctors

It can be a serious problem. It is not self-limited at all. You should consult as soon as possible a chest specialist (Pulmonologist)
