●Orthoses to improve support and alignment
●Night splinting to improve toe alignment
●Stretching and/or mobilization/manipulation to maintain joint mobility
●Medial bunion pads to prevent irritation
●Ice applied after activity to reduce inflammation
●Analgesics: acetaminophen or NSAIDs
More advanced interventions may be deemed necessary should the above listed measures prove inefficient in producing improvement.
In any case, you need to have an orthopedic specialist assess the degree of deviation and advise you regarding practicing ballet, since tip-toeing can further exacerbate your condition (because of the applied pressure on the big toe).
