The solution will depend on the cause of your problem .
There are several conditions associated with what you feel or describe

#it may be a chronic laryngitis since you said that these symptoms from long ago.
Laryngitis is inflammation of the vocal cords of the larynx due to some irritant (bacterial, viral or allergen). This inflammation leads to the distortion of one’s voice making it hoarse. In some cases this inflammation can become so severe that it may lead to your complete inability to talk.
since the condition is long ago you may have irritant or allergen causing an allergic laryngitis
symptoms of laryngitis are similar to those one experiences in a sore throat.
The common signs are
>pain around the throat
>tenderness in the lymph nodes around the base of the jaw and around the neck
>pain while talking and swallowing
>red and inflamed back of the throat and hoarseness of one’s voice(change in voice )
#since the condition is long ago then it might allergy ,if you are exposed to a certain allergen and have been always to this allergen you will always complain of these symptoms

# if you feel pain in the neck too when speaking or swallowing or tenderness in this area then you might complain of thyroid disease ,thyroiditis for exampl cause tenderness ,throat pain ,and voice change, enlargement of the thyroid might compress the vocal cords an cause voice change tenderness and pain

#there might also more serious problem such as a mass or tumor affecting your larynx or you throat giving you such symptoms ,especially that if these symptoms are worsen ,getting worse over period of time .

#note that any long term change in voice might indicate a serious problem that must be investigated

you must go to the doctor check for the cause and take the necessary treatments.
