I did the xray & ekg & I smoke. The pain starts as I lay down on the bed on my left side and it diffuses depending on which side I sleep on. Sometimes, I feel pain for days for a short period of time.

It's difficult to have a diagnosis without a proper physical exam but the pain might be musculoskeletal in nature and needs pain killers. If no improvement, then you would need to be seen by a specialist.
