Adult stem cells have the promise of regeneration and healing. Nevertheless, their use is not yet FDA approved other than in strict research protocoles. Their extraction, purification and reinjection is submitted to strict principles. It will probably improve our medical practice in the coming years but not before very thourough scientific validations.
