I spend 9-10 hours a day sitting working behind my desk, it's causing me epic LOWER-back pain.. How can this be solved? what is the best position to sit to avoid this pain? Thanks.

Sitting in front of the computer for long time is associated with inactivity, increase in weight and muscle spasm and fatigue mostly affecting back muscles which results in lower back pain. First it is very important to know the correct posture while working in front of a computer. The back-thigh / shoulder- hands angle should be at 90 degrees with an extension head rest to relax the neck muscles. The computer monitor should be high enough to allow straight eye-screen viewing. It is important to have frequent breaks for stretching exercises while working in front of a computer. Working out and physiotherapy may also be useful to relax and strengthen neck and back muscles.
