I'm a hard working person as I spend around 14 to 16 hours a day using the computer. 2 weeks ago I started experiencing severe mid-back pain when I stand up, bend or even sleep. What could this be?

What to do? Change your sitting position, stretching exercises, stand-up for a few minutes every like one hour, keep your abdominal muscles stiff (this takes off some of the weight stress on your spine), choose a chair with a back and one that is dynamic (chairs that allow movement of the chair seat and back support independently).

Look up "ergonomics" which might help you adjust your environment to help reduce your fatigue and discomfort and increase your productivity.
