I snore very loudly when i am asleep and wake up with a dry mouth. what could it be ?

I totally agree with Dr. Farah, but would like to add that snoring is a very serious condition, it increases the risk of stroke, causes irreversible heart failure, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension.... So you should focus on snoring and how to solve it rather than the secondary effect which is dry mouth!.

Snoring very loudly is most probably related to nasal obstruction,being it due to enlarged turbinates,severe septal deviations,very large tonsils("kissing tonsils"),along with enlarged adenoids,or combinations of the mentioned. Apart these factors, persistent nasal allergies, obesity, heavy dinners and smoking especially before sleeping might also cause snoring. We highly recommend you to seek a professional's opinion,to rule out serious and hazardous health issues,as my colleagues have mentioned above.
