Nasal obstruction can cause loss of taste and smell, as well as snoring. The obstruction may be the result of a variety of things, from Allergies to chronic sinus issues. You will need to have your nasal cavities evaluated by nasal endoscopy at an ENT's office, and maybe get a CT scan of sinuses to evaluate for disease, if your ENT so determines.

loss of smell and taste may be due to trauma or usually viral also 2ary to nasal polypsor allergy or 2ary to complete nasal obstruction or chronic sinusitis
