I have PCOS and acne since 6 years . I'm now 17. Will isosupra 16mg treat my acne? When i will finsh the treatment will the acne be vack?

isosupra is Vit A derivative, it is not a definitive treatment as your ovaries will continue to secrete the androgen hormones that stimulates the acne formation process,
you need pelvic ultrasound & hormonal workup, as other treatment modalities are available.

Hello, acne has several treatment possibilities and isotretinoin like roaccutane and isosupra should be used as a last resource in case of failure of other treatments or first hand in case of severe scarring acne. specific treatments for PCOS by your endocrinologist, ,lifestyle changes including changes in your diet can also help improving your acne. the dose will depend on your weight, and if the treatment is not given properly your acne can come back even after isotretinion
