If it's regular menstrual bleeding (and not slight vaginal bleeding like the bleeding that may occur during pregnancy and that I have described in my previous reply), and it occurred on the day that your menstrual cycle is due, then it's most likely menstrual bleeding. If in doubt, take the home pregnancy test.
