Polycystic ovary disease is a condition that causes multiple small ovarian cysts, abnormal periods, and hyperandrogenism. This causes abnormal periods and abnormal ovulation, so this by itself might cause difficulty getting pregnant.
Taking contraceptive pills does not cause difficulty getting pregnant , it actually regulates periods, prevents ovarian cysts.
