- to do IUI , you should have patent fallopian tubes, & nl sperm count for your partner,
no it is not painful, if you want twins you should have more than 2 follicles in the ovaries.

I had 4 failed IUI with clomid. Took 6 injections follitrope 75 this month but developed a cyst so stopped it. The doctor said to try other drugs next month. Will the cyst go away for good after that?

- Some patients will develop a cyst, we can use some protocols to limit the occurrence of those cysts. You should discuss this with your doctor as he/she is the one who is following you with ultrasound.

Any advice about home insemination? Been inseminating for a year with no success. I use opks to track my ovulation and when it's positive, I inseminate the same day and the day after it.

- Home insemination is very similar to intercourse, used when the couple can't engage in sexual intercourse. I prefer lab insemination, as the sperm is prepared.
