I had the flu, viral not bacterial, runny nose is over but I have very bad dry cough. doctor says i should wait. can i take anti-histamine?

- most probably your father had an urticaria. which is a mild form of allergic reaction. and at the hospital they gave him an anti-histamine or steroid injection (most probably anti-histamine.)
