To Dr. Nemer Charafeddine, the swelling on the thigh question. It's in the inside of the thigh, between the legs, close to the vulvar area.

if the swelling is associated with redness, it can be due to infection, mainly due to micro abrasion in the skin.
if there is no redness , it can be varicose veins...(less likely in your age)
if it is in the vulvar region, it can be bartholin cyst...
you should be examined honestly to diagnose it
