My son is 1 year,i'm a working mom. maternity was 40 days off only and i leave him with my mother in law 5 days/week 10h/day.he love her more than anyone even me. it hurts a lot. what shall i do?

ok try to make the little time you give him more enjoyable than the time spent during the morning,i mean make use of the little time you spent with him by playing with him offering him enjoyable food,be unique make things your mother in law don;t make with him by time memory moments of you in his head will be specific for you.
tell him a story before sleep ,offer him many hugs and kisses and raise his positives and say how much you love him ,try to bring him when coming from work a toy or a game or delicious snack or maybe simple things such as a colorful book then he will be waiting for you every day to come ,
make the few hours lots of emotions and fun ,
make use of the weekend days and let him with you take him to playing

Bonding happens through breastfeeding, touching (skin-to-skin contact), smelling (he'll start to recognize your smell), interacting (talking to him, smiling to him, rocking him, and eye contact. Obviously you need time to do all those- so my best advice is to try to spend as much time with your baby as you can when you get back from work; and maybe in the early morning as you prepare to go to work you could sing to him, put him on your lap as you're getting ready on the mirror.
