My lips always burn, and now they burn more then usual, why is that?

If the skin over the lips is dry this can cause burning. A cream containing zinc can be applied several times a day as a start in that case. Herpesvirus can also be a cause of recurrent burning sensation over the lips. In case it doesn't resolve then the lips should be examined to rule out some diseases that can cause the burning sensation.
