First it is a chance to discuss safe sex practices, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and contraception. But it is also very important that you have the yearly pap smear test and for the HPV vaccine (preferably done even before being sexually active ) and to perform all the tests that a woman should have for regular health maintenance.
