Cerebral Palsy (CP)can result from a number of causes which are mostly disturbances that have occurred during pregnancy; it is a life-long condition. Kids with this condition do not recover but have different outcomes depending on the specific type of CP they have and the disease progression. Such kids require specialized interventions including physical therapy and social and psychological support, in addition to medications.
