I'm seeing a bald spot on my frontal cortex, and witnessing more spacing between hair follicles. Am I balding early and can this be treated?

It is possible you are balding like many men do; the age at which this occurs depends to some extent when males in your family have baldness. the hair loss in baldness is more or less diffuse But if you are losing hair only in one spot, this may be what we call alopecia areata for which a medication is applied.
