I have scars on my face due to an electrical hair removal fail. How should I treat it? I've been to several dermatologists but wasn't satisfied!

Scars post wounds, injuries, burns, or even hair removal have different pattern. They may present as small clear scars, as hypertrofied bulky scars, or as ugly big keloids. Each one of these has different approach and different treatment. Your doctor should define the scar type and should initiate the required treatment.

Electrolysis can result in permanent skin marks related to destruction of collagen and elastin fibers. Peeling and CO2 laser sessions can moderately improve the marks but caution is needed because of the inevitable sun exposure one gets in a country like Lebanon. A safer, less expensive and more efficient alternative is deep 2 mm mesoroller sessions.
