I went to the gym yesterday, woke up today with muscle cramps all over my body. Haven't been to the gym in a while so I expected this would happen. But what can I do to relieve the pain?

word of advice ; it is normal to feel these cramps after a period of discontinuation of physical activity :
1) do not overdo it , if you feel any pain whatsoever , you need to stop
2) make sure u do proper worm up ( minimum 30 min treadmill ) and make sure most importantly to do proper stretching
3) topical / spray products could be helpful next to medications if the pain is too severe and impedes your return to the gym
