I've been having acid relfux every night before i sleep, i've been taking 150mg of Ranitidine every night, is it the correct way ?

What you are doing is correct though it should be done ideally under the supervision of a physician.
If the Ranitidine is giving you relief, you can continue to use it. As a general recommendation you should use the minimal dose that will give you relief of symptoms.
