I started having pain in the nerve between my toes three years ago, and now I also have lower back pain and left shoulder pain. Can magnesium supplements alleviate that?

Magnesium is required for the proper growth and maintenance of bones. Magnesium is also required for the proper function of nerves, muscles, and many other parts of the body. In the stomach, magnesium helps neutralize stomach acid and moves stools through the intestine.
So in moderate doses magnesium is safe with no side effects ,the first sign of too much magnesium in the system is diarrhea and the symptoms you are complaining are not related to magnesium ,so check with the doctor for the possible causes of your pain you may have nerve compression or any thing else.
