I am actually following the rules concerning his solid food intake but he hates milk.He drinks half bottle & we struggle with the other half.I changed brands,nipples,made him feel hungry.Nothing work!

So integrate milk within his solid food portions. You should also try to start having him get used to drinking from a sippy cup - he may actually like it. When it comes to feeding infants, there are aspects that are a matter of trial and error; at the end of the day, even babies have their own taste regarding food and want to have a say in what they do or do not eat!
