As the usage of E-cigarettes (EC)  increases so does the controversy surrounding them.  EC contain a nicotine-based liquid that is vaporized and inhaled. If used as a temporary measure to quit smoking all together, EC may be helpful . Some powerful EC (tank systems) can produce cancer-causing carcinogens. One of the main concerns is the appeal to the younger population who perceive of these EC as a "cool" activity. he FDA has started (and will continue) to regulate the sale and use of these EC to  curb their use and appeal among younger people.
