How can I prevent getting pregnant, without using a condom? and how can I know when I'm ovulating?

د. Nehme Raad طب أمراض المسالك البولية
There are various contraception techniques. Besides male and female condom use, cervical caps and diaphragms, there is abstinence, withdrawal (coitus interruption), natural family planning, drugs (pills, injections, implants), spermicide foam or cream, intrauterine device (IUD) and surgery (for men or women).
Those methods have different success rates.
The natural family planning (rhythm method) usually relies on knowing the timing of ovulation that can be predicted by:
- The calendar method: you can rely on this method if you have a regular menstrual cycle.
- The temperature method: rise of the morning temperature of 0.3 degree Celsius the day of ovulation.
- The cervical mucus method: the mucus becomes more thin and slippery during ovulation.
The three methods must be combined to be more effective.
Visit your physician to decide about the most suitable technique for your condition.

the condom offers the advantages of preventing or lowering the STDs ( sexually transmitted disease),
so it would suit you better,
if you are in a monogamous relationship , pills would be ok
in either way , you should consult a gyn for this
