Not curable, but controllable. This is a life long illness of benign nature. It goes through flare up and remission phases and responds to treatment at different rates in different patients. There is a 10% likelihood of it to progress into psoriatic arthritis (skin lesions and joint inflammation) which also has the same course of ups and downs.
