Pre-cum or pre-ejaculate is a fluid that is secreted by some glands that drain into the urethra. The fluid aims neutralizing the acid media of the urethra that is nociceptive to the sperm. So it is a normal physiologic process that happens upon arousal.
Some men produce more pre-cum than others. Its amount might be decreased by the use of some drugs if it is very annoying.
Furthermore, the use of condoms is mandatory in all types of intercourse. It can prevent sexually transmitted diseases and hides the unwanted effect of pre-cum.
