Did a gastroendoscopy & have sliding hiatal hernia. Took Gastrimut for 2 months but nthng changed. What r the treatments of z hiatal hernia & how can it be reduced? Food takes abt 5 hrs to be digested

Small Hiatus hernias may require no treatment. Big ones may need surgery. Alternatively some medications may help reduce the symptoms. A change in lifestyle and eating habits is always necessary.
