There is no direct relationship between back pain and headache. However low back pain can lead to stress that may result in headaches. Another possible relationship is between muscle spasm in the neck and the most common type of headache (Tension headache)
some type of illnesses like congenital spine malformations (Chiari or tethered cord syndrome) may be associated with both low back pain and headache.
