Dr Abu Mahfouz graduated from The Jordan University of Science and Technology, following that he completed an academic postgraduate training program from The University of Jordan, where he was awarded the Certificate of Higher Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Afterward he passed the Jordanian Medical Council examination and was awarded the Jordanian Board certificate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Abu Mahfouz then moved to the United Kingdom and joined the British Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board (PMETB) training program. After the successful completion of training he was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG). In addition he completed a fellowship in urogynaecology Dr Abu Mahfouz has extensive experience in general Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to Urogynaecology and Pelvic reconstructive surgery, and now runs a private clinic in Amman – Jordan
