If my scar is itching me after 1 month of the surgery, does it mean it's healing? And I feel the itching after I put the Contractubex. Does it mean it's helping the healing process?

I have a a very long scar after a humerus surgery. I am using Contractubex, do you think it will help "dissolve" the scar? or it's pointless?
