- Cold sores are herpes and need to be healed with topic acyclovir. Fucidin can be used but it does not heal this type of sore.

- hello dear but valtrex is antiviral and staph is bacteria who told you it is staph, if the dr gave you valtrex 500 then it is indication he is curing a virus not bacteria
