White spot on back of baby's leg. How dangerous is it? My baby has very white skin yetthis spot is very obvious. He is 11 months old and I have just found it. Did not know if it existed before

An isolated skin hypopigmented lesion (has less melanin, the skin pigment that confers color to the skin) in an otherwise healthy child is a benign finding. So as long as your baby is growing normally and following his age-congruent developmental milestones, you need not worry about this skin lesion. If other similar lesions appear elsewhere in his body, have a dermatologist take a look at them; sometimes skin dryness can cause such lesions.
