What's a good remedy for a throat ulcer (on tonsils)? I can't put daktarin or urgo because I cant reach it. What can I do other than gargle with salt?

An aphthous ulcer needs not be treated with Daktarin gel, which contains an anti fungal and thus should be reserved for the treatment of oral thrush, but it is oral thrush that you have, then you must investigate the cause. Also, if you get recurrent oral ulcer, you may to consult with your doctor to rule out any underlying conditions like inflammatory bowel disease.
Treatment of aphthous ulcers (also known as canker sores) is usually with iodine or chlorhexidine-based gargles; while oral thrush is usually treated with nystatin-based suspension which you have to gargle and swallow.
