What is LDH test I had LDH test and it was 218 it was 173 four months ago is it indication for anything abnormal lab range is 110. 265 thank you

LDH is most often measured to check for tissue damage. The protein LDH is in many body tissues, especially the heart, liver, kidney, muscles, brain, blood cells, and lungs.

Other conditions for which the test may be done include:

Low red blood cell count (anemia)
Cancer, including blood cancer (leukemia) or lymph cancer (lymphoma)
your lab results are normal ,no tissue damage ,

ldhis an enzyme which is present in heart liver lung andmuscle it is elevated when there is tissue damage to these structures your result is normal
