What benefits does brown food have ( Brown bread, brown rice, brown pasta, etc.. ) ?

Brown foods are usually richer in fibers, which helps the digestion process in many aspects. Brown rice is also richer in trace minerals such as selenium and manganese which are important in energy production and help decrease LDL.
In some studies, brown foods were associated with decreased incidence of diabetes and certain types of cancer.
