The weight and height of your daughter are indeed both below the 3rd (i.e. the smallest value) percentile on the growth chart for her age and gender,and if she continues to follow on this curve of growth, she will end up having a petite frame as an adult. I can conclude from the 1700 gram birth weight that she was born prematurely? Is she the member of a twin or triplet? Were there any complications during pregnancy or when she was admitted to the neonatal intensive care (prolonged exposure to breathing machines, infections etc.)?
