My scalp has a lot of pimples! I have been suffering this for years... Yet the max solution from the docs was a shampoo! Yet they keep coming and going. They are painful and inflammated sometimes! So?

It seems that you are talking about folliculitis which is an inflammation/infection of the hair. It can affect the scalp and the treatment is based on antibiotics, not shampoo.
