My 8.5 months baby is having green watery diarrhea since 2 days (3-4 times/day). He's not accepting solid food & started to dislike milk! Playful, no fever! Could it be cos he's getting his 3rd tooth?

It is a common and widespread myth that teething is associated with fever and illness; the fact of the matter is that infants and children sustain a lot of infections under the age of 3 years, especially in the 1st year of life when they're still not fully immunized. You are advised to have your baby examined by his pediatrician, especially that his oral intake has started to drop (to avoid dehydration) and do stool tests to rule out Rotavirus (causes diarrhea in small babies) or bacteria. Meanwhile please make sure that you give him oral rehydration solution (Babylyte).
