Have you noticed early signs of puberty in your daughter, like breast development, or pubic/axillary (under arm) hair? These could be pre-menarche changes which indicate that she will reach puberty soon, especially if there is family history of menarche around this age on your side of the family or on her father's side (paternal aunts). In any case, it is best to have her pediatrician examine her.
